Botswana ~ RAW Botswana, Motswiri
RAW (Ride & Walk) Botswana operate safaris from Motswiri camp in the Selinda Reserve, on the north east fringes of the Okavango Delta. The main camp is close to the Selinda Spillway, an ancient watercourse linking the Okavango to the Kwando-Linyanti floodplains. The area combines the Okavango’s open floodplains (to the west and immediately north of the camp) with permanently dry grassland and thick, riverine forests that line the Spillway to the east. Motswiri has exclusive access to over 120,000 acres of pristine bush, an area that supports a huge variety of game, a great diversity of vegetation and wonderful birdlife. With its unique setting, game and birdlife and its management ethos of attention to detail and flexible, personal service, whether you wish to ride, walk or combine the two, at Motswiri you will be in the best of hands.
Safaris are possible for 3 to 10 nights with 5 to 7 nights recommended to fully enjoy the area. Motswiri camp is open year round.

The meeting point is Maun in Botswana. We will arrange private charter transfers from there to the horse safari camp. To fly to Maun from London it is usually easiest to go to Johannesburg and take a connecting flight from there to Maun. British Airways, South African Airways and Virgin all have direct flights from London to Johannesburg, departing every evening. Air Botswana and South African Airways have daily flights between Johannesburg and Maun. For an economy return flight from London, budget around £800 to £1200 (fares vary with seasons).
